PAL Tutoring
Looking for a little extra help with your schoolwork? PAL’s after school tutoring begins Aug 30 for students of all ages. Sessions are Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 3:30pm. Tutors are high school and college students. Students or tutors interested in participating, call PAL at (321) 777-8336.

Satellite Beach Farmers Market
The Satellite Beach Farmers Market continues weekly at Pelican Beach Park, 1525 Hwy A1A, on Thursdays, 10am-4pm. We are pleased to offer produce, fresh bread, jams, handmade lotions and soaps, teas, honey, hand crafted jewelry, wood artwork, tiki carvings and more. All items are hand crafted. PAL Youth Teeny Bopper Dances Open to Kindergarten-6th graders. Cost is $5/night! Held at the TEEN ZONE, located in the DRS Community Center  building, 1089 S. Patrick Drive, Satellite Beach 32937.
1st & 3rd Saturdays each month from 6:30-9:30pm.

The Satellite Beach Dog Park will host a weekly "YAPPY HOUR" event every Friday 5-7pm, February-April. Bring your furry friend(s) and walk around the SB Sports and Recreation Park; Three times around the landscaped sidewalk surrounding the park is 2 miles! Enjoy complimentary treats for your pup, giveaways for owners and pet lovers, and FREE admission to the SB Off-Leash Dog Park (entry requirements apply). 

April 27    55+ Club Fashion Show
Come see the latest fashions from Bon Worth at this 55+ Club sponsored event. Event is held at the DRS     Community Center, from 11am-2pm and includes a light lunch, chances at a 50/50 raffle and various door prizes. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased in advance at the SB Recreation office or at several of the 55+ Club functions.

April 29     PAFB National Fitness Competition
The Boys & Girls Club of Patrick AFB Youth Program kids and teens will participate in the National Fitness Competition at 9am. The competition, sponsored nationally by Nestlé, focuses on getting kids active while bolstering their self-esteem. Participants will learn how to set personal goals, test their level of physical fitness and gauge their own improvement as they participate in the event. Above all, the National Fitness Competition will allow members to take pride in themselves and their abilities as they learn that physical activity is a fun and integral part of a healthy lifestyle.

Sea Turtle Walks
The Sea Turtle Preservation Society offers guided Sea Turtle walks in Satellite Beach beginning in June and ending in July. Reservations are mandatory and are accepted after May 1st. Call 676-1701 for reservations.

May 14    Rhythm in Motion Recital
Enjoy the recital performance presented by Satellite Beach’s own dance ensemble, Rhythm in Motion. This year’s theme will be “It’s All Fun & Games”, featuring dance and gymnastic students from 3 years old to adults. The recital will be held at the Eau Gallie High School Auditorium at 2pm. May 19    Food Truck Friday!    New Date
Looking for an evening out with the family?  Come have dinner with us. Satellite Beach PAL will be hosting our first Food Truck Friday, May 19th from 5-9pm at the DRS Community Center, 1089 S. Patrick DR. Food vendors will be available and our Youth Leadership Program will have beverages for sale. Join us as we celebrate spring and the great   Florida weather!! May 27   Mini-Bunko Night
This is an “Adults Only” game of dice. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to play, you’ll learn as you go! The Teen Zone doors open at 6pm for dinner and dice roll begins at 7pm. The cost is $15/person for advanced tickets, available at the SB Recreation office, or $20/person at the door.The event is sponsored by the Police Athletic League (PAL) and benefits their youth programs. Family Fun Swim Night
Bring the whole family to the Satellite High School Pool on June 15, June 29, July 13, July 27 for an evening of family pool fun!  Use the diving board, lap swim, and bring your inflatables. For $5/family per Thursday, you can enjoy some water fun from 6-8pm. A parent must remain at the pool with their children.

Aug 3     Girl Scout Cupcake Decorating Challenge
Kids ages 5-10yrs can join us at the DRS Community Center from 5:30-7pm. Bring your icing, your favorite cupcake decorations and get ready to have some fun! Cost is $10 per child. August   Rhythm In Motion Fall Dance Registration
Returning Rhythm in Motion students can sign up during a special registration on Monday, August 7, 3-6pm at the DRS Community Center. Beginning Tuesday, August 8, sign up for any RIM dance or gymnastic class is done during Rec office hours, Mon-Friday 8:30am-5pm. RIM classes begin the week of August 14. 

November 4    SB Founders Day 
Join the City of Satellite Beach and the Satellite Beach Woman’s Club as we celebrate our Annual Founders Day and Marketplace, featuring more than 100 craft and specialty vendors, at the DRS Community Center.
